Carol

Hi, I’m Carol, a US expat who now calls Amsterdam home. I’m also a toddler mom, learning (daily) what it means to balance care for others with care for myself.

I started practicing yoga in 2018. What began as a way improve my physical health quickly became a steady anchor through the ups & downs of life. This unexpected passion led to a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019 & pre- & post-natal training in 2023 when I became pregnant. In 2026 I completed training for parent-and-child yoga. I’ve taught adults to elementary school kids & have also helped manage a yoga studio.

These days, my teaching is shaped just as much by real life as by formal training. I saw a real need for caregivers (especially mothers) to take care of themselves in between the messiness of family life & to build a supportive community around them that just get it. My classes are about showing up as you are & moving & resting in ways that feel supportive. I want to help caregivers remember that they’re allowed to make space for themselves while caring for others in all seasons of life. I also want to provide opportunities for caregivers & kids to bond through an early introduction to yoga!
